Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

EU Micro Scanner (“we”, “us”) is based in the Netherlands. For anything in this policy, the quickest way to reach us is our contact form.

2. What we collect

  • AI system descriptions. The text you paste into the scanner is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate your report. We do not store this text on our servers — each scan is a stateless request, processed and returned, not saved.
  • Email address. Collected when you unlock a PDF report, purchase the Enhanced Report, or contact us. Used to deliver what you asked for and to respond to you — not for marketing unless you separately opt in.
  • Payment information. Handled directly by Stripe when you purchase the Enhanced Report. We never see or store your card details.
  • Contact form messages. Sent via Web3Forms to our inbox when you use the contact form.
  • Local device data. Your daily free-scan count is tracked in your browser’s local storage, not on our servers, and not tied to your identity.

We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

3. Why we process it

To provide the scan and report you request (contract performance), to prevent abuse of the free tier (legitimate interest), and to respond when you contact us (consent, given by submitting the form).

4. Who we share it with

  • Anthropic — processes the text you submit to generate your report. Anthropic is based in the US; transfers rely on their published safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent transfer mechanism).
  • Stripe — processes payment for the Enhanced Report.
  • Web3Forms — delivers contact form submissions to us.
  • Vercel — hosts this website.

We do not sell your data to anyone.

5. How long we keep it

Scan text is not retained after your report is returned. Email addresses and purchase records are kept for as long as needed to fulfil your request, meet accounting obligations, and respond to any follow-up — up to 24 months after your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Use our contact form to exercise any of these. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.
